Nila was established in 1994. The goal back then is the same as it is now, which is to provide a high quality food service to the catering industry. After 20 years of business, building from the ground up starting with only 2 vans and a small warehouse situated on Boston Thorpe Road, we are now a strong force to be reckoned with throughout the South East of England.
Natural expansion by 1998 caused Nila to seek larger premises to house the multitude of different products, ranging from ambient, chilled and refrigerated. Nila also now has a small fleet of vehicles on the road daily serving customers throughout Greater London on a daily basis. The new premises in Hanwell West London, boasted plenty of space for further expansion of products, vehicles and employees. As the business grew, so did the dreams and more employees were recruited to aid the high level of service Nila were starting to be known for.
2010 was strong year for Nila. We ventured into delivering outside the M25 and covering the South East of England. This brought on its own logistical struggles, which have been overcome due to the strength and dedication of the Nila team. Nila also took onboard a secondary warehouse to house holding stock. This ensured that Nila’s stock levels were maintained for the fast moving popular products, so that customers were not let down.
Today, we are an integral part in the everyday running of successful catering businesses, ranging from cafes and coffee shops to schools and hospitals. Our portfolio just seems to be naturally getting bigger and bigger with newer prestigious accounts contacting us directly and requesting we serve them too. We are dedicated to providing our customers with a first class service that they can depend upon and with doing that, we have built our reputation upon it.
