FOUNDED IN 1993, SANT ANIOL STILL IS A FAMILY BUSINESS Sant Aniol’s spring can be found in Garrotxa, a region in Girona, at a depth of 115 meters. A slope located in a place of sedimented lava and volcanic rock makes Sant Aniol a water of great purity and excellent qualities. SANT ANIOL, WATER FROM THE VOLCANIC ZONE IN GARROTXA Sant Aniol’s water has filtrated over thousands of years through volcanic rocks in Garrotxa Natural Park and is the only one from volcanic origin in the Iberian Peninsula. Its composition is rich in minerals. * HUMUS Substratum of plants made from organic elements. * ANDESITA An igneous rock that has a mineral composition rich in elements like calcium or magnesium. * POZZOLAN Layer of silicon materials that creates a natural filter for liquids because of its high porosity. * BASALT It's a fine-grained volcanic rock with a composition rich in magnesium. * GRANITE It's a rock made essentially of quartz and feldspar (calcium, sodium and potassium).
