From the love of a family to a land and a unique tradition, an excellence of balsamic vinegars is born. Over one hundred years in the name of a genuine passion for the high quality of tradition: the high quality of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI Monari Federzoni. Monari Federzoni was born in 1912 at the time when Ms. Elena Monari ran a grocery store in Modena, cultivating the passion for the main product of the territory: the balsamic vinegar of Modena. On 12 January 1912, Signora Monari asked the Ministry for permission to resell balsamic vinegar in her shop. The authorities issue the first commercial license inaugurating the beginning of a great story of quality and passion. Little by little, the interest in the tradition of local flavors turns into a true entrepreneurial activity. From the sale of loose vinegar, we move on to the sale in bottles with the affixing of a label bearing the first logo designed by graphically combining the 3 symbols of the product: the bunch of grapes, the spider web symbolizing aging and the bolt, to protect the secrecy of the recipe.
