Barba Vasilis, is a small Greek taverna & restaurant, situated in the historical Balat district of Istanbul, which was home to the Greek minority in Istanbul. Barba Vasilis is at the ground floor of Troya Balat Boutique Hotel a group of houses converted to a hotel. Soon after the opening, mezes, grilled octopuses, and other selected dishes of BarbaVasilis became the favorite of ‘Istanbullu’s.
