In a rural location and surrounded by 3 National Parks – Drents-Friese Wold, Holtingerveld and Dwingelderveld – you will find the Herberg van Wapse in Wapse, Drenthe. You can visit us all day; for example, take a seat in our lounge for a cup of coffee and cake or choose something from our lunch menu for a larger appetite. A bit later in the day and fancy a snack and a drink? Then settle down in one of the lounge sofas on the terrace and enjoy our Happerij, or take a seat in our beautiful conservatory for dinner. Our kitchen is characterized by a French-Dutch style and cooks recognizable dishes at the highest level, using local ingredients as much as possible. The Herberg van Wapse is also an ideal starting point for a day of walking or cycling in the area. You can park your car for free in our spacious car park and we have various routes available that you can use to start and end with us, which you can use without obligation. Of course you are welcome before or after your trip for something to eat or drink.
