In 2012, Piatto bested more than a dozen qualifiers in the Casual Dining Restaurant Section of the Food and Beverage Category of the prestigious awards to become only the second casual dining restaurant after Steak House to be conferred the recognition. The Board of Judges cited excellent overall dining experience as the reason for selecting Piatto as the winner in the 2012 event.
