DE: Two things which Hamburger Fischerstube did well here: great traditional Hamburg cuisine, and genuinely friendly service. The food: Aalsuppe, well-balanced broth, beautifully presented with half a peach in the centre of the bowl. Generous pieces of tasty smoked eel dotted the delicious soup. A basket of good bread on the side to accompany the soup; Amrum fish plate, which consisted of a thick, large salmon fillet which was perfectly cooked, two pieces of pan-fried sole fillet, and a pair of absolutely fresh-crunchy scampi, all served atop a dill-flavored creme sauce. Boiled potatoes on the side was a perfect complement. It's a tiny, cosy restaurant with a nautical theme, and with a small but well-stocked bar. I just went for the Alsterwasser (known as Radler in the rest of Germany) to wash down the meal. Perfect.
