We like to keep it simple as we follow our passion for quality ingredients & true pleasure in eating & drinking. Great wines are carefully sourced, our dishes are lovingly crafted & everything is served in a fun, friendly environment. Join us for a glass of natural wine, a few nibbles or a sumptuous meal. Whether as a couple on a romantic date, with friends for a drink, we are able to cater for any occasion. We put a great deal of energy, time & tasting into compiling our wine list. Organic, biodynamic & above all natural wines are focussed on, because these reflect our ideology: ethical farming, sustainability, & quality. It is because of this that natural wines tend to be made in small quantities by artisan or independent producers. These producers tend to work without chemicals in low yielding vineyards & then vinify without artificial yeasts or enzymes, or recourse to acidification & other adjustments. Many of our wines are made with only a tiny amount of additional sulphur, & some with none at all. 'Nowt taken out & nowt put in', as the saying goes. The menu is designed around the idea of sharing. We insist on using local fresh produce when available & are intransigent in our quality. We strongly believe that producing organically or with that philosophy is the way to save our soil, & everything that depends on it.
