EN: Mulberry Garden is hidden down Mulberry Lane in Donnybrook. It is situated in the grounds of an old cottage dating from 1911. We opened our doors as Mulberry Garden in 2011. However previous to us the restaurant enjoyed life as the infamous Ernie’s and we are honoured to be able to continue the tradition of fine food and fond memories in this beautiful and unique space in the heart of Dublin 4. Here in Mulberry Garden we are very proud of our little island and are passionate about using all things Irish. From the moment you walk through the door you are surrounded by Ireland. Our walls are adorned with Irish wool, paintings by Irish artists and quotes from the great Oscar Wilde. Our tables are dressed in Irish linen, Newbridge silver cutlery, native wooden bread boards, Irish Atlantic sea salt, Donegal rapeseed oil and our signature Improper Butter. The water we serve is Irish, even the hand soaps and lotions in the bathrooms are Irish. So of course our head chef, is fervent about using Irish ingredients. Every week he brings you a different menu using only ingredients that are in season. He works with the best local farmers, butchers, fishermen and artisan producers to bring you an exciting and unique menu which celebrates the delicious and wonderful food heritage of Ireland.
