We have spent many years passionately brewing quality coffee for all our loyal customers. After much deliberation we have decided to go roast our own, thus launching our own brand Dublin Roaster. We have carefully taken our time to research the style of coffee we like and then find an equally minded partner to roast it with. We have teamed up with the lads at Baobab Coffee Roaster in Celbridge, Co. Kildare. Luigi & Alex are as passionate about the quality of their products as we are. At Baobab they have a 6 kilo micro roaster which we have experimented with and come up with a roast that we are all very happy with. We roast our coffee each week in 5 kilo batches, which maximises the return for our customers and guarantees absolute freshness. For our first roast we have chosen a single origin Arabica from Burundi in Central Africa. The beans have come from a small cooperative called KibingoWet Mill, grown by small farmers at around 1650m above sea level. This bean has a bourbon character to it with balanced acidity and lingering sweetness. Throughout the year as different crops become available from other farms we will change our choice of bean, even change continent, but always guarantee quality and freshness
