Open since 2009, Queen’s Park Café is a family owned, 200 seater café nestled in Queen’s Park overlooking the city of Ipswich. The café is located within walking distance to not only the CBD but all Queen’s Park facilities such as the playground and Nature Centre (animal park). Fully roofed inside and outside dining areas with ramp access and accessible parking throughout the precinct. The café provides an easy-going atmosphere with an extensive menu, cooked and prepared fresh in house by our chefs, that accommodates the whole family. We believe in supporting the community and source local suppliers such as Somerset Coffee and Angliss Meats. Not only does the café offer casual dining but also a catering menu which can be suitable for any occasion. For more private bookings, we also have a function room available for hire which comfortably seats 50 people and includes a projector and screen. Here at Queen’s Park Café, we are not only lovers of food but of the environment and wildlife. While we are one of the largest cafés in Ipswich, we still do our best to minimize our environmental footprint. We have a three-step recycling system in place that separates our plastic and cardboard from our glass and cans, therefore reducing our general waste impact. We also utilize biodegradable take away containers, cutlery, straws and hot or cold drink cups, which can either be compostable or will simply break down just from sunlight and oxygen. The café’s deck overlooks the green grassy hills and trees of Queen’s Park which creates a peaceful dining experience where even your friendly fur babies are welcome. In the hot summer months, we offer environmentally friendly eco-misting fans on our deck so our customers can still enjoy the view of the cafe’s surroundings in warm weather
