The Studio was born from the meeting of two lovers of good cooking: Steve Verbeek and Didier Beckaert. After collaborating together until 2004 in France, they meet again in December 2005 and this is where the adventure marrakchi starts when Steve, the sommelier, is convinced of an opportunity in Marrakech in February 2006. In less than a year, their first project, the French restaurant La Villa, was born after six months of work. Success is immediate. A French, national and international clientele rushes to the Hivernage, a chic district in Marrakech, to taste the local cuisine proposed by Chef Beckaert. The establishment is finally sold after 4 years of great success. The Studio, opened since June 2011 in Guéliz, in the heart of Marrakech, is full carton. The success is even more resounding than that of La Villa. The brewery / wine bar allows Marrakchis to find a piece of France enjoying a good foie gras, a fresh fish or the specialty of the chef: Chateaubriand maroilles.
