KRIO has been in the food industry for the last 40+ years, starting with the founder Anthony Alsten in 1987. Continuing on the family business is Lee Alsten, who brings 20+ years of experience to this family business-turned leading manufacturer in the food industry that specialises in savoury seasonings, herb blends, and herbs & spices. Krio is based in Kingsgrove, Sydney, and their manufacturing plant occupies a 3000 square metre purpose-built site, including a “development kitchen”.
