CAO Formaggi (acronym for Cooperativa Allevatori Ovini) is a Cooperative Company composed of 700 members, founded in 1966. The cooperative was founded with the aim of aggregating a set of farmers to transform the milk produced in the respective companies and stand out in the production of delicious cheeses with high quality standards. The union of breeders also intends to enhance and recognize the work and the characteristic pastoral heritage of the territory. The passion in daily work and the commitment to the pursuit of quality, consistent with the principles of the Sardinian dairy tradition, are the values shared by all the breeder members, who through history have contributed to creating and carrying out the cooperative up to reality which today represents the "CAO Formaggi".
