Yudum, Turkey’s leading oil brand is also the mostly preferred, widely distributed and consumed brand in the industry. Yudum began olive oil production in 1975 at its Istanbul Golden Horn factory. Following additional investments, the entire facility was transferred to Ayvalık in 1984, and production capacity increased accordingly. The production of cooking sunflower and corn oils under the Yudum and Sırma brands followed suit. Producing Turkey's most-preferred oils under the Yudum and Sırma names for many years in its 18,000-square meter Ayvalık facility, Yudum Gıda currently has a production capacity of 85,000 tons for corn and sunflower oils, and 20,000 tons for olive oil.
