Komgıda is a giant project with a value of 500 Million USD within Kazımkarabekir District, Karaman Province, including around and open area of 1.078.000 million M2 and 76.082 M2 closed area, which would produce its own energy with cogeneration system, having an installed power of 70 Megawatt, in which 5000 personnel shall be employed when the project is completed, aiming to reach an approximate exports volume of 100 million USD annually and which shall consist of 24 Food Factory The foundations of these plants were laid on 10 February 1997 and Flour, Pulse, Semolina and Macaroni Factories have initiated production in a very short time. Agricultural products which are raised in our region, country and abroad shall be processed in Food City and shall be delivered to the four corners of the world in different food products under the consideration of human health and palatal delight.
