The coupon booklets can be used to redeem one free burger per week for a whole year. - When we opened Carl's Jr. in Slagelse, the guests queued for many hours to be among the first. It's a good indicator of how popular the entire event around the opening and the free burgers usually are, says Camilla Aagaard Hansen. This is the first time 30-year-old Camilla has been trying his hand at the title of restaurant manager. However, this is not the first time in the family. - My mother and father have been self-employed for several years with a burger and softice restaurant at Stillingestrand in Slagelse, so it is not completely foreign to me, she says and does not hide the fact that she looks forward to the responsibility that comes with running a new restaurant. 100% flame-grilled Angus burgers and free refill on sodas Carl's Jr. opened the first restaurant 76 years ago in California. Today it is the fifth largest burger chain in the United States and is best known for the tasty burgers made from 100% Angus beef, where the steak is grilled over an open fire to preserve the juices and flavors, the crispy hand-fried Chicken Tenders made from whole chicken breasts, and hand-scooped milkshakes, made from real vanilla ice cream.
