Slims Pork Chop Express offers a fun and unique British take on american BBQ and, with its link to Liverpools Chinatown, an interesting Dim Sum selection. The menu is quite unique in that the main focus is smoked meats but there’s also a nod to Chinatown with the Low Pan Banquet (smoked belly pork char sui bun, philly cheese steak spring rolls, homemade sui mai and salt and pepper ribs) and The Peking Express (Ginger beer can crispy duck with pancakes) – all of which tastes significantly better than a couple of the Chinese restaurants in that area. Slim’s Pork Chop Express is open from 10 am – 12 pm Monday to Friday, and 10 am till late Friday and Saturday.
