For a long time, Neumarkt was missing something: a proper, cozy Irish pub. Jürgen Lang then looked for suitable locations and finally opened the Cattle Shed at the Viehmarkt in September 2010. Shortly afterwards, a new temporary worker was needed and that's where I, Simon Richter, came in. At first it was one day a week, but soon it was four, five or six days that I was behind the bar in the Cattle Shed in the evenings. I increasingly enjoyed standing behind the bar, getting to know more and more guests personally and making friends in the process. And so I didn't have to think long when I was given the opportunity to take over the Cattle Shed in March 2013. Thanks to my active family, who help out at all times, the decision has proven to be a very positive one, even in retrospect.
