Murray Davie and Bernadette Taylor are very excited to introduce Rolleston's latest hospitality venture to the people of Selwyn. Murray and Bernie’s own concept and design, Silver Dollar has been in development for two years. When designing the restaurant and bar, they wanted to bring both the rustic and comfort tones together to create a relaxing inviting atmosphere. Both Murray and Bernie have many years of experience in hospitality, Murray with the Cardrona on Avon and Bernie with The Bridge Restaurant and Bar in Prebbleton. Their new venture offers something special to the people of Selwyn and surrounding areas. This classic establishment captures the essence of Rolleston with a little bit country combined with a little bit of contemporary. The menu includes a variety of dishes, both affordable satisfying meals as well as special dishes, to ensure there is something for everyone. Outside, there is a massive sun-drenched sheltered area to enjoy all year round with family and friends.
