LOCALLY SOURCED – AUTHENTICALLY CRAFTED John Keogh’s – The Lock Keeper Is a newly developed gastropub in the heart of Galway’s Westend. The pub has two bars and a private party room, all located on the ground floor. Head Chef Joe Flaherty leads the kitchen team in producing the highest quality food, with the emphasis being on local and fresh. For this reason, the menu changes regularly. At John Keoghs we source our food carefully using seasonal local and sustainable products when possible. We focus on no nonsense food with a mix of old school classics and bold innovative dishes. We only use premium quality Irish steaks aged for 28 days, hand cut by our chefs, West coast seafood which is on our door step & must be the best in Europe. We only use in house pastas filled with seasonal ingredients, Irish soda bread and comforting desserts made by John Keoghs pastry chef.Reservations. Seating at John Keogh’s is available on a walk-in basis only. We will seat you as soon as we have a table, but while you are waiting, we have two bars and are in a lovely neighborhood that is great to walk around in.
