It is tucked away in a small pedestrian street where determined people make the effort to find us. It is a five minute walk from both Central and Queen Street stations and twenty minutes by bus or taxi from Glasgow airport. This Georgian building, originally built in 1790 and attributed to the architect Robert Adam, was saved from demolition in 1983 and opened in October 1985 by the existing owner Fraser Laurie. It is a small, intimate and warm space. Suitable for dining couples, small family gatherings or, should it come to it, much larger groups. We must inform you though that our capacity is 34 persons. We do however encourage musicians playing traditional instruments. Sessions (not performances) usually take place on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons.
