We started brewing in 2000 with a small team of hop(ping) mad enthusiasts. It was a time back then when Microbreweries were a rarity and we were out there convincing people to taste freshly brewed beer! The unique setting of the Microbrewery leaves the guest to see, smell and taste what they are drinking. The beer is made ON site and IN sight on the open plan microbrewery so the guests have a chance to drink the beer straight from the tanks and into their glass! This is where it all began, our first restaurant opened its doors in 2000 in the heart of Blackheath, overlooking the heath itself. An outside terrace is bustling in the summer months and the internal space offers various settings including a mezzanine level which overlooks the brewery. Our restaurant in Blackheath is also only 10 minutes from the O2 so perfect for a pre-show dinner. Our principles are the same as what we started with: We believe that by not filtering, not pasteurizing nor using additives, Zerodegrees beer stays Nutritious, healthier and full of flavour! Each of our craft beers are crisp, clean and a true example of its style. Each sip is bold and full of flavour with a strong core! Much like us.
