Experience the best of cabaret at the Cabaret Tropicana restaurant. Opened in 1939, this establishment has assumed a huge part of the culture in Havana. It operates in four locations, each suited for different tastes. The open-to-sky night clubs imbibe the best of Cuban and Caribbean cultures through their performances. The music played during the program has been composed by Tomas Morales. Most of it has been inspired by the local music traditions, by trying to incorporate Hispanic and African beats. The dance combines fluidic styles of rumba, mambo, Latin jazz and danzonete. Visitors can either just watch a show or combine it into an evening to remember by adding a dinner with it. The holiday season often sees many special performances for the tourists in Havana.
