KSAR gets its name from the Berber language that is still spoken in North Africa countries like Morocco and Algeria. The name itself means "Old Castle" referring to a type of ruin. Not surprisingly, if you look around the restaurant you will find some old and interesting features commemorating the restaurant's given name, such as the fireplaces inside, the old street scene featured in the restaurant and so much more. KSAR is located in Byblos, a famous city known for its historical and mythological richness and we like to think of KSAR as being part of that abundant privilege. One of the many colorful aspects you will notice about KSAR is that is smoothly divided into several areas, each with its own aura, setting and magic.
