Iron Chef Table, like the television show of the same name, has celebrity chefs preparing flamboyant dishes in a studio setting. All seven of the Thai Iron Chefs are part of the venture, although most days it is Chef Art who is in-house, with the other TV-stars taking their turn in the kitchen on weekends. There are eight main ingredients which every dish is based around: Canadian lobster or Thai river prawn, foie gras, wagyu beef, pork, black grouper, duck, eggs or blue fin tuna. At least half of the menu is based on recipes actually created on the show and each dish has the name of the chef who created it listed below. It’s a fairly even split between each of the Thai master chefs and even a couple of dishes from Chef Hiroyuki Sakai from the original Japanese Iron Chef programme.
