Trained in Italy at the Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli by World Champion Pizza Maker Graziano Bertuzzo, Restauranteur Mark Paterno has been striving to give Australian customers a better pizza since 1984 when he began working in his family’s pizzeria in Haberfield. Since then he’s dished out traditional Italian pizzas in his own restaurants including Golosia, Crows Nest and Arriva, New Farm, where he won Best Traditional Pizza four years in a row in the Dairy Farmers Best of the Best Pizza Competition, and Best Pizza Restaurant awarded by Restaurant and Catering QLD, and now Arte Bianca, Double Bay. Food has the ability to take you on a journey. At Arte Bianca we want to transport you to a kitchen table in Italy, where mamma has just set out a table of simple, fresh and honest home cooking for you and your family. Our Italian staff often comment our food is just like mamma used to make, and for us, that’s the highest compliment there is.
