In the restaurant we have built a large brick oven that is wood-fired – essential for making good pizzas. Gusto's pizzas are made according to a Neapolitan recipe. The raised edge, the cornicione, is one of the hallmarks of a pizza from Naples. The edge is nicely crispy, has air bubbles and keeps the fresh ingredients nicely in the center of the pizza. The Neapolitan pizza is wetter than the Roman pizza, there is more water in the Neapolitan dough, sometimes the pizza seems 'just undercooked'. Our restaurant has an informal atmosphere, where you can enjoy a pizza with your family or enjoy an endless dinner with your friends and where you always feel welcome.
