In Amsterdam East the Beukenplein is the centre of raw gastronomy. At Smokin' Barrels everything feels American, filmic and rough. Their signature dish is half a lobster (with a cocktail) and the Smokin' Barrels burger (with a beer), on the same plate symbolises simplicity versus luxury. Riah Farhat is known in the Amsterdam hospitality branch, and he know what works. Sunny or not, the terrace is lovely.
