In the heart of the Thuringian capital Erfurt lies the medieval Krämerbrücke. One of their houses is called "Zum Güldenen Helm". This is where the history of the Goldhelm Chocolate Manufactory began in 2005. Chocolatier Alex Kühn started manufacturing handmade chocolates using traditional craftsmanship and his own recipes.
