In 2006, Dolce Sicilia was opened at Drottningtorget in Malmö. The goal was to make the world's best ice cream with Sicilian tradition. It would be a small production with really nice raw materials. Mom was responsible for the knowledge of glass making. No one had expected such a success! The ice cream was quickly appreciated by many. Already in the first season Dolce Sicilia's ice cream was the best in tests according to Sydsvenskan.
