Our history began around 1907. Leiteria Mineira was founded by miners from Fazenda Socego (it's spelled like that, with c), in the interior of Minas. They opened it to start the dairy production on the farm. It was inaugurated at Galeria Cruzeiro, inside the Hotel Avenida, on Av. Rio Branco, downtown Rio.
