After outgrowing our original HUBBOX, a specially converted 30-foot shipping container turned pop-up restaurant, we felt like we had to find an equally unusual but more permenant spot for our relocation. A 19th century grade II listed Wesleyan chapel, provided us with the ideal space. The result has been described as one of the world’s “coolest restaurant interiors” by none other than the Guardian. Our food is inspired by American street food, which Executive Chef Alex Towill fell in love with whilst working and living in New York. Award-winning handmade burgers, gourmet hot dogs, pulled pork, and beef brisket – in the HUBBOX’s own smoker – along with dishes like the Mack Daddy, a crispy Cornish mackerel burger with shredded beetroot and horseradish mayo, created with the very best ingredients the South West has to offer. We also have exciting vegetarian burgers, homemade nachos and delicious kids options. Our menu is not the only thing to look forward to when you’re down at the HUBBOX, we stock an ever-changing selection of great craft beers; on draft, in bottles or cans, whichever you prefer, as well as a choice of funky cocktails, Shakes and soft drinks.
