Welcome! The Rico Tico Bar and Grill began back in 1995 as a small 20 seat poolside Boca Bar at Hotel Si Como No with a simple menu of appetizers for our 17 room hotel. As the hotel grew in popularity into a Boutique Resort, so did the menu and space expand to become the well known brand of genuine "Tico" hospitality. Many of our customers are on a first name basis with the staff, and some go back to the first Chalupa and Banana Flambé we served nearly 15 years ago. Now with thousands of homemade desserts served every year, we still are known for our personal service, our consistent quality and value that we strive to deliver as part of the exceptional Costa Rica experience that's Si Como No is all about. We try to always practice what we preach! For example our kitchens recycles fruit and vegetables into compost along with recycling approximately 80% of our waste by-products produced daily by the hotel. Seeking harmony between our own species and the rest of Mother Nature's habitat, including the monkeys who hang around in our canopy, is part of our practices of CST (Certification of Sustainable Tourism). We ask that you don't feed the animals. Our menu, although delicious, is not part of their natural diet.
