Brick Lane is the brainchild of Phil Ryan and Eamon Walsh. Opened by Mr Brock Lane in 1867. The bar became known as Brick Lane after a sign writer misread his brief and inadvertently swapped an O for an I. Henceforth the bar was known as Brick Lane.
