For those who are not in the know we were called Farringtons after a character in James Joyce’s Dubliners who was partial to an auld tipple or 2. We are the oldest pub in Temple Bar and wanted to move into the future with a strong sense of our historic standing as a real local pub in Temple Bar even before it was Temple Bar as you know it!
