hen the Living Room was born out of a desire to participate in the urban revival of inner city Johannesburg. The development of the Maboneng Precinct (meaning 'place of light' in Sotho) was our first urban playground as landscape designers to ride the wave of positive change, after which the Main Change Rooftop become our designated space in 2012, to establish a tranquil sanctum for the public to enjoy. Our goal at the Living Room is to immerse our guests in the profound beauty of a lush, serene rooftop terrace surrounded by panoramic views of our beloved City. We hope to share this little slice of paradise with as many people as we possibly can.
