A typical Degustation Dinner will consist of six courses, which includes dessert, tea and coffee, and you can opt to have wines specially matched to each course. Feel free to tackle The Old Brewery’s signature ‘Tomahawk Steak’, pioneered and named by the Brewery’s chef Greg Farnan. The Tomahawk is one of the largest steaks in Australia, weighing in at 1.4kg - 2.7kg (1.8kg average). Each Tomahawk comes from the coveted Wagyu beef. Its namesake is the mammoth 30cm of rib bone left on the cut that is menacing to some – but to others, a dream. A Tomahawk can be shared between two or a few, along with Greg’s delicious sides. The Tomahawk will be presented to your table and hand-carved, right at your table! A great experience and some of the finest meat you will ever taste.
