The story was published in the December-January 2017 edition of the Wizz Magazine available for free in all Wizzair flights. The article springs off a fact that, for the first time, Baltic restaurants were included in the prominent White Guide Nordic. “The Baltics are really exciting emerging foodie destinations, with a lot in common with the Nordic countries,” says Peter Hansson, Managing Director of White Guide Nordic. “So it’s a natural step for us to start including them.” The owners of Uoksas says the listing will help in their efforts to rebrand Baltic cuisine. As the headline of the Uoksas entry in the guide says “Creative kitchen with top potential”, there’s no doubt about that! Baltic cuisine may just be Europe's hot new food trend.
