Food is an important part of Macedonian culture. “We serve real Macedonian food here, but adapted to the wishes of our time. Sociability is also very important. That's why we don't have very long tables. If you come with more than fourteen people, you will be divided over different tables near each other. People have to get used to it first, but then experience it as very pleasant. When we moved to the building in the Groningerstraat, there were people who asked whether the red tablecloths would disappear. Because they liked it so much. We have been here for ten years now, but those tablecloths are still there.”
