A reference in the center of the Portuguese capital, with an atmosphere of comfort and elegance, today's grandparents transmit to their children and grandchildren the “habit of Gambrinus”. Located in the heart of downtown Lisbon, it has been the stage for important social, political and economic events in the city. In 1964, it was remodeled and expanded by the architect Mauricio de Vasconcelos, receiving the status of a luxury restaurant that continues to this day. This architect was also responsible for the decoration, as well as the exclusive design of the lamps, generously sized tables and comfortable chairs in wood and Portuguese leather, engraved with the restaurant's logo. Details of Portuguese art, mixed with traditional details such as antiques, porcelain pieces from Companhia das Indias, exotic woods, period furniture or a fireplace in Portuguese granite make up the interior of the space.
