When we talk about São Miguel D´Alfama we definitely are referring to a historical house, opened in 1945 and it is one of the oldest in the Alfama district. Inserted in the frame is the old Jewish quarter. Architecturally interesting to cross your door we find a floor of particular importance in the case because of an ancient Roman sidewalk, its bricks arches sarapantel (basket wing) also date from this time. The São Miguel D´Alfama is a family home. Its owner Fátima Moura that inherited from his mother, plans to one day be their children to take their employers, thereby causing it to become an inter-generational home. Fátima Moura is also the mentor of this space, harmoniously decorated with characteristic symbols associated with the good taste of its owner. Typical north of gastronomy south of the country is one of the strengths of this house. Features for a wide range of dishes that offers its customers a variety of options. The São Miguel D´Alfama decided to bet for some time in the new generation of Fado singers, with daily young male and female voices who dare to continue the tradition of fado. This is a true Portuguese house!
