There are plenty of restaurants to choose from with the river view but the friendliness, food, service and additional treasure trove of food and wines inside - and knowledgeable staff willing to offer samples and advice - make this one of the best to experience, although you may have to wait for a table. Go for the meat and cheese platter and fish plates which is the ideal pre-river crossing lunch. Terrific wine selection so lunch can be brief, or go on forever in a beautiful setting.
