Open for business not long ago (in November 2015), the Boulevard Burger House is inspired by typical American diners. The Cadillacs and the 50s starlets are not there, but the menu is vintage Americana, with its wings (highly praised by critic Alfredo Lacerda), onion rings and the like. Start off with mac & cheese and order a milkshake. The hamburgers – “some of the best you can have in Porto”, to quote Lacerda again) – are the highlight. There are two different lunch menus: one costs €6.95 (including the daily special straight from the menu, a drink and a cup of coffee) and the other costs €11.95 (comes with appetizers – corn chips with guacamole, fried tomatoes and blue cheese –, a main course, a drink, a dessert and a cup of coffee).
