The Brasserie at 1 Lombard Street is the Square Mile's most established restaurant and arguably its best placed, sited in pole position next to Mansion House, the official residence of the Lord Mayor of the City of London, and directly opposite the Bank of England. Casually elegant, warm and inviting, it features the building's stunning glass copula - a centre piece Dome designed by Italian architect Pietro Agostini which houses The Dome Bar. The food here is comforting and classic. Chef's Specials Menu changes each day to reflect the fresh produce of that season . Our grilled whole Dover Sole and Calf's Liver & Bacon with mash potato are City favourites. There's also a formidable choice of steaks and many delicious desserts. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, five days a week, the bustling 200 seater Brasserie is suited to all tastes, budgets and occasions.
