Based in the heart of Swansea, the Pant-y-Gwydr serves French cuisine prepared using both traditional and original recipes, with an emphasis on the sauces on which much French cooking is based. The menu contains ever-present classics (French fish soup, frogs legs, tournedos Rossini) and frequently-changing seasonal specials that include Welsh or Gower lamb wherever possible. We set great store by the authenticity of our produce: snails from Burgundy, organic olive oil from Provence, organic baker’s flour milled in Wales… Since parts of the menu may change on a daily basis depending on the availability of fresh produce, any advance copies of menus will be provided by way of indication and do not guarantee the dishes that will be served on a given day. Much of the menu will be prepared à la minute and most dishes are wheat-free.
