Matcha Tea is 100% pure unfermented green tea, ground into very fine powder. It contains no preservatives, colour additives nor any other artificial ingredients. When you drink matcha, you ingest the whole green tea leaf. The secret lies within a special growing method. Four weeks before harvest , the fields are completely shaded. Tea plants begin to compensate lack of sunlight by intensified production od chlorophyll. Its higher content results in increased amount of amino acids and it also causes that bright emerald green colour.
