Steak Escape® opened its first restaurant in the French Market of Columbus, Ohio, United States in 1982. The original philosophy was two-fold and simple: Create a menu using only the freshest, hand-prepared ingredients and do it as a show in front of the customers. That philosophy still guides nearly 70 Steak Escape locations in 22 states across the United States.
