Thematic proposal that aims to rescue part of the essence of this magical place, which we are happy to inhabit and care for. We have an exact replica of the raft that for many years was joining the two banks of the lagoon, being the only means of public transportation. Upon entering our establishment you are welcomed by two old sticks, parts of a "schooner" that was shipwrecked on these shores back in 1700. Also the chains of the "Renner" ship that ran aground one morning of thick fog more than 50 years ago. on the rocks of the José Ignacio lighthouse. We have also found glass buoys that predate the plastic era. The authentic sign that indicated the place of crossing of the raft. The oars of the fisherman's boat "Cacho Pérez". Legend with a thousand stories of the coasts of José Ignacio. Our gastronomy, which is based on local raw materials, makes the "catch of the day" literal. It depends on the catch achieved by our neighbors, the fishermen. Sometimes we have saltwater species and others freshwater, or sometimes both, depending on the weather, which is what determines where to fish. We also cook with native products from the department such as butiá, wild boar and tree bark that aromatize and smoke meat in a charcoal iron oven, which together with our griddles are our main fires. We hope that our flavors are to your liking, and that you receive the warmth of our attention, so you can enjoy the energy of this unique environment.
