Yorsan, which meets the traditional Turkish white cheese with technology and industry; is the company, who has applied pastorized milk and cheese, known as cultured cheese, production for the first time in Turkey. As a result of the irregularity of cheese trade in Turkey, and of a need for modern facilities for its production in healthy and hygienic conditions, with the was establishment of YORUKLER GIDA LTD. STI. in 1964, in Ankara, the foundations of Yörsan Group were laid down. Along with a purchase of a diary in 1979 in Susurluk, the construction of a diary products factory was completed and activated in 1984 and Yorsan A.S. has been established. In 1985 for the first time pasteurized milk production and cultured cheese production was started up. As of 1996, Yorsan A.S. has opened dealerships throughout Turkey. Besides its wide product range, Yorsan is the company which has the widest product types and which holds the widest market share in the country. Alongside the domestic market, Yörsan is exporting substantial amounts and is the first white cheese brand to enter Japan. It has been exporting to a number of countries, mostly to the USA and Japan, for a long period of time.
